Kamdyn signing
Kamdyn likes to play with her flashcards, so we use that as a way to practice her signs and learn the animals and their sounds. For a while, we stopped watching Signing Time, because Kamdyn wasn't interested at all. Now, she will sit and watch AND DANCE (cuz' sister loves to bust a move!). She will sit and watch and imitate what they are doing. Kamdyn has developed really good imitation skills, and I think that is a big reason that she is picking up so many signs now. We like to go to the public library every 2 weeks and pick up 2 or 3 Signing Time DVDs. That way, we aren't watching the same one over and over.

ReplyDeletelove this! Kamdyn is rock'n the signs! Maddie protested signing until we introduced the PECS program..and now she signs and Pecs it! I love the signing time videos! I figure I can learn right along! smiles

ReplyDeleteIt was dog. She was about 14 months old. She has between 15 and 20 now. She recognizes more signs than she can do, but I think she'll keep picking them up as her fine motor improves.
