* This one is a little delayed, because I just never added it in anywhere else, but it's one worth mentioning. Austin started riding his tricycle by himself earlier in the summer.
After watching it again, I just have to say: Couldn't you just squeeze him? That smile that he gave as he rode by. Did you see it? Oh, it gets me every time. He's a charmer, this one is.
*We tried planting a garden for the first time. While some things turned out to be a total bust, our green beans were a success. I'm telling you there is NO comparison to something you've grown yourself to store-bought. Plus, you can't beat the sense of accomplishment from growing it yourself.
*After some practice, Kamdyn can stand up while holding on to things.
*And she got her first pair of real shoes. They are size 1 sandals from Stride Rite.
* Kamdyn's first plane ride.
* Madison lost her first tooth. When she got in bed that night and placed her tiny tooth under her pillow, I got out her baby book, and I showed her a picture from when she was one. Her big smile showed off her two lonely, little bottom teeth. It made me a little emotional thinking that the tooth under her pillow was her first little tooth to poke through. I'm sure we celebrated and cheered when we noticed our baby girl's first tooth, and now, there it is, under the pillow. She's growing up. So fast.
