name them one by one

There are days when the river of creativity feels dried up, when the fires of inspiration feel burnt out.  But those are the days when I have to count my blessings.

* A house we love and functions perfectly for our family.  When I laid in our bed at night in our little two bedroom apartment, and dreamt of our house, this is what I imagined.

* Sharing my life with my best friend.  Even though he is undoubtedly the head of our household, we always find a way to make decisions together.  Somehow, our thoughts and desires come together in this balance that works for us.

* Healthy kids, because I realize all too well that I could be sitting in a hospital waiting room right this very moment.  Waiting and longing to hear that an open-heart surgery has gone well.  By God's grace, we haven't gone there, and hopefully we won't have to.

* Being home with my kids.  After spending a year back in the work force last year, I cherish these moments.

If he were any cuter in these little overalls, with the duck hanging out...............

............ I would have to eat him up.

Wardrobe changes are as common as eating around here.

Make it a great week.

Your imagination is your preview of life's coming attractions.
