I heart

Little, wet baby feet that dangle into the water like hanging your foot from a beach chair.

Smooth skin, all clean, slippery, and sweet smelling

Creativity that shows itself when you hand them a piece of paper and some paint.

Madison "reading".  She carefully turns pages and makes up her own words.  Telling the story just so.

Hats and tights.  Tights with polka dots are like adding whipped cream to your pumpkin pie, a little added sweetness.

Kissing those cheeks.  How could you resist?

The simultaneous renewed fascination with "Baby Kamdyn".  Madison and Austin come in during therapy and want to help by shaking toys and talking in high pitched baby talk.  The request of, "Can I hold baby Kamdyn,"  has been a frequent question these last couple of weeks.

Kamdyn had a cardiologist appointment today.  Since it was our first visit with her new doctor, we were a bit nervous.  Along with that and her not gaining any weight, we were expecting the worst.  But once again, we got good news.  God is so faithful to us.  We are thankful for every one's prayers for Kamdyn.  Her heart is still healing, and he compared the restrictive tissue over the hole to a wind sock.  The large 7mm hole will always be there, but the tiny piece of tissue is like a flapping wind sock that narrows as it moves away from the hole.  Lord willing, that "wind sock" will narrow to nearly or completely closed.  Either one of those would allow her to escape surgery.  So that is the prayer.

And we decided that we are going to get......

a wind sock.

And fly that baby high and proud.

With that, the last thing I heart... wind socks.
