31 for 21, or whatever it's called.

Almost everything I do is in fast forward, speed mode, because that is just the way life usually is.  Our days usually feel like they are in fast forward.  I talk in fast forward.  Case in point, the other night, after a fun day of doing stuff with the kids all day and no naps for them, I was pretty spent by the time bed time arrived.  In a confused, fast forward-type moment, I actually said to my daughter, "Don't do the things I didn't tell you not to do."  What?!  I don't even know what that means, but I have a feeling that whatever it does mean, it doesn't mean what I was trying to say, which was, "Don't do that!"  And I know she had no idea what Mommy was talking about, since those words had absolutely no impact on what she was doing, and rightfully so.

I am also a firm believe that I am rapidly losing brain cells.  Why, you ask?  These are why:

So it didn't surprise me today when my husband pointed out to me that I had been blogging 31 for 21 wrong for the entire month.  I have seen everyone else's post titles and the little badge that everyone has, but I never really read it or looked at it, because I knew what it said, or so I thought.

Rather than try to start my own blogging movement of 21 for 31, as I had been writing it, I went back and changed all of my titles so that they are right.  And now I kind of feel like that person who has something really big on their face, but nobody says anything, because it's awkward.

  1. Well I must be right there with you because I never noticed you had it backward :) I have a few of those cute brain-sucking things too, precious, but they do make us loose our minds!

  2. If this makes you feel better: I hadn't noticed, and I have been reading your posts pretty much every day :)
I have mentioned the "31 for 21" on my blog only a couple times, but every time I had to really think to make sure to do it in the right order, too...
Have been enjoying your posts and the pictures of Kamdyn! She's a cutie!
