Kamdyn at 2 years

What's Kamdyn up to these days?

She signs around 30-35 words.

She says duck- "du"  juice- "jjsss"  and she said bye bye- "ba-ba" once

She has mastered pulling to stand, and her cruising is improving all the time.

Last week, she woke up one morning and decided that she was interested in walking.  Not kidding.  Bam!  Let's do this thing!



So now, she will hold onto our hands and walk across the room.

She also tries to stand up without using an object to pull up on, but she hasn't quite figured that out yet.

I leaned her against the wall the other day, and she tried to take a step away from the wall to come to me.

We are working on self-feeding.  She is mostly finger feeding.  She will use the spoon, but she usually ditches it after a few bites, because it's not fast enough. 

She colors.  She's kind of been able to do this for a while, but she is getting more interested in actually coloring and not just eating the crayon.

She colored that on the iPad.  That's an easy way to eliminate the consumption of crayons.

She knows yellow, orange, red, and blue, and she can sign them.

She "sings" the Itsy Bitsy Spider and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

She really plays with her toys.  She puts the baby doll in its car seat.  She puts the Little People animals in the barn, shuts the door, etc.

She plays with the iPad. (More on that to come and app suggestions coming up.)

And she brightens every day.
