I didn't realize that World Down syndrome Day would feel as special to me as it did. So I am glad that we made a truly special day that we can remember.
Perkins restaurant was having a fundraiser for the "Give the Kids the World Foundation", and they were doing free stacks of pancakes. My friend Jodi and her kids joined us, and we turned it into a WDSD celebration. Thanks, Perkins.
After breakfast, we got in the car and went to...............
LOVE Hershey Park!!!!
Hello, Chocolate Tour.
One entrance and one exit, but three rides. Going on a week day means no lines.
"LOOK, COWS!"
"Hi, cows."
That's a lot of Reece's!
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm............................
My husband surprised me by taking a little detour. I just happened to not notice that our detour took us in the wrong direction to Lancaster. You would think that I would caught on when we passed an amish man driving a horse and buggy on the side of the road, but not me. I'm pretty clueless, but it was an awesome surprise, since I have been hinting for a while that I wanted to go to the Shady Maple.
