Patience

Patience.

It's one of those words that you hear that you better not ask for or seek out.  The working of patience could bring trials that one does not even want to imagine.  I am convinced, however, that it doesn't matter if you ask for it.  If it needs increased, it will come.  And although you may raise your fists and try to fight it off or even if you turn and run as fast as you can, it will come.  It will sneak up when you think that everything is perfect.  And God will show you that you've still got a ways to go.  And I'm not even always sure where I'm going or how I'm going to get there, or even if I will ever get there, but I'm beholden that I'm worth getting there, where ever it may be.

He's still working on me.

And, alas, she eats.........

...................cereal.

It's not the most graceful or pretty sight to see, but she's doing it.

Just as much ends up on the bib as in the mouth, but she'll figure it out.  Just like everything else.  Once we show her, she works at it, and eventually, she gets it down.

I was a little sad at first, because this is the first step.  The first step in moving forward and leaving babyhood behind.  But I can't hold her back.  The world will only be blessed by letting her go and letting those wings fly free.  So watch out, cause here she comes.  And it's going to be beautiful.

  1. Loving the little cutie AND the bib! Glad to see that you didn't turn to the dark side and become a Steelers Fan when you moved to PA. We have Ravens season tickets so we are BIG fans.

P.S. Patience is a hard thing. I try and remember that saying "Good things come to those who wait"....but sometimes the waiting is so hard!!
