We're weird

There's a time honored tradition here in our home.  It's one that started about 14 years ago when Justus was still knee high to a grasshopper, toddling around in his saggy diaper with his little chubby cheeks.  It's a tradition we hope will live on for generations to come and be lovingly passed on to those who will carry the torch for our family in the years to come.

It's a little something we like to call.....................................................

SCRUNCHY FACE!!!!!!

Ha, did you think it was something serious?  While we do have a lot of important tradition and family legacy we hope will live on long after we are gone, this is one of those things that really just shows, well, how weird we are.  I always knew we were weird.

How do I know?  Well, what do you have sitting in your closet?  a vacuum, coats, shoes maybe?  We have the front of a roller coaster, Super Man from Six Flags America to be exact.  You think I'm kidding.  Oh no, dead serious.

And my son, he does things like this......................

How do you like that facial expression? ha!

He said he was putting on lip stick, but he failed to realize that it was really a glue stick.

Madison likes to put her energy and expression into art work of any kind.  This girl could color, paint, mold, express all day long.

Stroke of genius........................................

We've had a lot of change in our lives over the last several months.  We do a lot of things that I wouldn't have considered "normal" months ago.  But I'm totally ok with it.  So we're different.  So we're not like everyone else.  We'll just keep being a little weird, a little different, and we'll rock it out and we'll be more at home in that place of weirdness than we would in the world of normal.  Who wants to be normal anyway.
