Do your kids?

When you go to the grocery store, do your kids reach into the vacant line next to you and flick the "open lane" light on?

When your standing at the counter, paying for some clothes you just bought, does your child pull every article of clothing off of the rack and throw it on the floor?

Of course he was smart enough to pick a rack that was not in my direct eye line, so I could not see his game of choice happening.

We all have these type of moments.  Most moms on several occasions will walk into the bathroom to find their child unraveling a roll of toilet paper directly into the toilet.  It's a right of passage.  Kind of like never being able to go to the bathroom or take a shower without someone coming in to tell you something or ask for something.

As days pass, I realize more and more how special these days are.  Sure, I may want to pull my hair out when the before mentioned atrocities are being performed, but I know that one day, I will miss them.  I will remember fondly the lack of "peace and quiet", the constant chatter, someone always needing something.  Some days I wish I could slow it down.  I wish I could just stop it right here for a while.  So I don't stress so much over hand prints on the window anymore.  I don't have to run for the Windex.  I just want to enjoy those little hand prints for a while.

Madison has not stopped talking about Family Fun Day at the mall.  She loves having her nails painted.

Showing off her beautifully manicured nails and her unicorn.  She has a thing for unicorns lately, hence her upcoming unicorn and rainbow birthday party.

We have a thing for butterflies, hence her butterfly party that is swiftly approaching.

It's a good thing he is SO cute.
