Kamdyn walking with a walker

When we introduced walking with a walker months ago, Kamdyn let us know that this whole walker thing wasn't going to work for her. The "steps", if you will, toward walking have been slow and exaggerated for this kid. We have seen each skill up close and personal, and she has resisted each one along the way. Why? Fear. She was afraid to stand, afraid to walk while holding our hands, afraid to stand without something in front of her, afraid to walk with one hand, afraid to walk with the walker, afraid to fall. And all along the way, we have worked through it, and she has prevailed. I can see her building more and more confidence and coming a step closer each day.
