Kamdyn goes to Mexico

We just had the amazing opportunity to go on a Disney Cruise!  Kamdyn (and the rest of us) got to go to Mexico, the Cayman Islands, and Castaway Cay.

Our whole gang:

Our first port was Cozumel, Mexico.  Here's the view of Cozumel from our room.

We didn't get to see a lot of Cozumel.  We did a little bit of shopping right near the port, and I scored the girls some cute dresses.  Our excursion was a short taxi drive from the port.  The taxi drivers (and all the drivers for that matter) in Mexico are CRAZY.  (No offense to anyone who is Mexican or lives there.)  It was just way different from here in the US.  I'm not familiar with the laws in Mexico, but it didn't seem like anyone was concerned with any kind of traffic laws, if you know what I mean.  But we arrived safe and sound, so all was well.  It's all part of the adventure.

She got up close and personal with a dolphin.

Kamdyn is not a big animal fan, so she didn't touch the dolphin, but she got to see it up close.  It was pretty cool.

Afterwards, we were able to swim in a lagoon and snorkel with fish and sting rays.  While we took turns doing that, Kamdyn played in the sand on the shore.  She loves the beach.  For lunch, they had fajitas, rice, and nachos.  Those were THE best nachos I have ever had!

That took up most of our day, and we had to head back to the ship for departure.

Our next port was Grand Cayman.  To be continued................................
